Theatrical Man of Steel Trailer Review

So I watched the full Man of Steel Trailer attached to the Dark Knight Rises.  I have to say I’m a little bit underwhelmed.  They showed much more action and footage in the Comic Con footage.  While it was cool all the allusions with the red cape and all of that, it still left me wanting.  Yes yes I know that is the point of a teaser trailer.. but I was wanting to see something better.  After the disaster of Superman Returns, I thought they would have brought out the big guns.  Superman flying at the end of the trailer wasn’t impressive either as that looked no different than Iron Man breaking the sound barrier in his teaser trailer.   Here’s to hoping for much more footage to surface in the months to come.  I have a good feeling about this movie.

    I hear what you’re saying. I wanted more, too. That being said, I’m so THERE opening night. Further, I like that there are two versions of the same teaser one voiced by Russell Crowe (his Kryptonian father) and one voiced by Kevin Costner (his adoptive dad from earth). That’s classy.

    Agreed. I just wanted to be blown away.. but there is plenty of time for that in the coming months.
